Frequently Asked Questions
Sending money is always free of charge. A Papara user never pays a fee for sending money.
Users who receive money will only pay a transaction fee in the case of over average/commercial use.
When your Papara account receives a total of 25.000 TL (or its foreign currency equivalent) from 5 different users in a month, the following incoming money transactions will be subject to a 3,40% (excluding BITT) transaction fee.
Regardless of the amount, if your account receives money from 10 different users in a month, starting with the 11th user who sends you money, the following incoming money transactions will be subject to a 3,40% (excluding BITT) transaction fee.
You will be notified by email, mobile notification and SMS when you reach your free transactions limit.
You can only be charged for the transactions that occur after being notified.
As a Papara account holder, all you need is a phone number to invite others to Papara.
To ‘Invite to Papara by Sending Money’:
- Visit the Money Transfer menu and add the phone number of the invitee
- Add the amount you want to send and confirm
- We will keep your money safe until your invitee joins Papara
- The invitee should join Papara using the phone number you used to send money

Send Money:
To transfer the balance in your account to another Papara account, you must have a Contracted account or a Verified account and have deposited money from your own bank account at least once.
Unverified or Verified accounts that have not deposited money from their bank account to their Papara account cannot send money to other Papara users.
